Mini-Pupillage

18LC offers mini-pupillage to students with the goal of offering them exposure to life at the Bar. A mini-pupillage normally lasts around one to two weeks.

Applications

All applications for mini-pupillage at 18LC should be submitted to the Mini-Pupillage Committee by email to Applications@18LC.com. An application should comprise of a cover letter and curriculum vitae (complete with relevant details such as grades and relevant legal experiences). An applicant may also submit such other materials as deemed necessary. The overriding consideration is merit, with particular emphasis on the applicant’s academic achievements, mooting and mock trial experiences, and professional integrity. Decisions will be made on a rolling basis.

The respective deadlines for summer and winter mini-pupillages are:
– Summer Mini-Pupillage (June to September): 31 March
– Winter Mini-Pupillage (December to January): 31 October

The Mini-Pupillage Committee may, at its discretion, invite candidates to an interview as appropriate. Late applications will only be considered on an exceptional basis. Mini-pupillages for other periods may be considered by the Mini-Pupillage Committee on a case-by-case basis.
