Samuel Wong has published a new book titled Hong Kong Arbitration Ordinance (Cap 609) – A Guide and Commentary (2nd Edition) (with co-author, Wilson Lui).
The book aims to guide readers through the provisions and practical implications of the Arbitration Ordinance (Cap.609) (“AO”) and its case law in a comprehensive manner. The second edition incorporates all major updates and changes over the past 13 years to the AO since the 1st edition was published in the early 2010s. The changes covered include new developments on funding mechanisms under the Ordinance, multi-tiered clauses, and the “centre of gravity” approach.
