18LC Seminar: Are your clients (and you) ready for an investigation by the Hong Kong Competition Commission?

18LC is pleased to announce that it will be hosting a CPD Seminar on dawn raid and investigations, titled “Are your clients (and you) ready for an investigation by the Hong Kong Competition Commission?” on 28 March 2024 (Thursday) from 5:30pm to 7:00pm.

Dawn raids and investigations by the Competition Commission raise questions concerning the ambit of its exercise of powers and the appropriate types of responses which practitioners representing subjects under investigation may offer. In this Seminar, Kenneth Lee and Thomas Yeon will examine the various rights and remedies available for a person or entity under investigation by the Competition Commission. The interactive discussion will also cover constraints on the Commission’s power in relation to dawn raids, interviews and other investigation procedures, and offers some practical tips on how to proceed ahead as investigation and enforcement progresses. A drinks reception will be held in Chambers after the Seminar.

1.5 CPD points will be awarded for a successful completion of the Seminar.
